Our MSS systems shred electric motors, generators and transformers efficiently and gently. Copper, aluminium and iron are cleanly separated through targeted pre-shredding and sorting – ideal for maximizing metal recovery from e-waste.

Powerful pre-shredding with up to 11 tons per hour

Our shredding concept shreds motors with a unit weight of up to 50 kg and a size of 500 mm – with a throughput of up to 11 tons per hour. Copper armatures, pumps and transformers are also possible.

Multi-stage separation for the highest degrees of purity

The system uses magnetic separators, ballistics, eddy current and air separation to produce three high-quality fractions:

Copper-rich metals,
Aluminum-rich pure iron and light metal fractions,
Plastic-free residual material.

Sophisticated system design & modular expandability

The MSS consists of modules A (shredding), B (copper refinement), C (fine separation), G (dedusting with 50,000 m³/h air capacity) – scalable and integrated.

Why do you need a special shredding technique for Motor Scrap?

Just imagine: Electric motors are shredded using standard technology – shafts jam the machine, copper remains in the iron, aluminum is lost.
Even worse: the metal trader values everything as a mixed fraction – you give away up to 30% of the true material value because copper components remain unseparated or are contaminated.
